Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy was pioneered by the French physician Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952. This medical specialty targets problem areas by injecting microscopic quantities of natural extracts, homeopathic agents, and vitamins, highly specific to the condition being treated, into the dermis or mesoderm (middle layer of skin). Mesotherapy is widely used in Europe to treat various injuries and medical conditions. It was recognized by the French National Academy of Medicine in 1986 as an integral part of traditional medicine. Among its many applications, mesotherapy can be used for injuries, cosmetic conditions, and fat reduction.
